Classification of Matter (http://www.physics.upenn.edu/courses/gladney/mathphys/subsubsection1_1_3_1.html):
This site takes the hot air ballonist's viewpoint on Matter
Classification. The website goes on to present the same chart we were
presented with in class about mixtures and pur substances, but in a
less cool format!
CarbonAllotropes (http://www.chemsoc.org/exemplarchem/entries/2003/bristol_shanley/carbonallotropes/diamond.htm):
If you are interested in the three allotropes of carbon check out this
website. I honed in on the diamond one since I personally found that
the most interesting. Hoever, feel free to browse, there's plenty to
satisfy everyone!
How does jello work? (http://sciencemole.wordpress.com/2007/05/22/how-does-jello-work):
If you read about halfway down in this comical blog, you will most
truly discover that Jello is in fact a suspension and not a solution.
This article remains true to its title and answers some pretty crazy
questions about how Jello works. Interesting to say the least.
Colloids (http://www.sciencebyjones.com/colloids.htm):
It may not be the most exciting site out there for colloidal
suspensions, but let's face it... how exciting can they get?
Informational and brief.
